Walking in the Rakowicki Cementery

I live not so far away from the Rakowicki Cementery. In autumn it's one of the best place for a walk, a bit melancholic and sad, but still very beatutiful.
In Poland Halloween is still not so popular, we have our own beautiful tradition of visiting graves of our loved once on All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day. Cemeteries are full of light then.

Krakow's Christmas Cribs

 Every year, on first Thursday of December, before noon, both residents of Krakow and tourists come to the Mickiewicz's Monument to admire unique Krakow cribs (szopkas). They are effects of work of dozens talented crib makers who using such simple materials like pieces of wood, paper or coloured foil create little wonders of architecture.
